Commented by eaglefeather Date: Sat, Jun 16 2012	The reason why we originally chose to make the length of the competition so short is to challenge people to draw something within a few hours, thus why it's called a "small" drawing competition. It's not meant to be on the same scale as the official iScribble competitions. If you remember the small horse competition that was hosted a little while back, it was actually LESS than a week long. However, considering some high schools still have finals, like you said, we might extend it by a few days or so.

Commented by BlackFax Date: Sat, Jun 16 2012	I don't think it's the length of time allotted which is troublesome, rather I feel it is more of the timing of the competition in regards to young persons moving onward with their education which is creating a standstill in contribution. The revision of the competition to June 23rd seems like more than enough time for people to contribute, even if they can only finish increments every afternoon rather than sitting down and finishing it at once.
