For the 4th small competition of 2010.
The idea behind the picture was to make the opposite of a vortex - a "vertex". A vortex being where matter travels to one point and the "vertex" would have matter travelling away from the point.
The Vertexbot is a star absorber which gains its power by sapping the energy from a star - in a "vertex" fashion.
