This is stunningly beautiful! I would love to see this in a gallery, on canvas, surrounded by a collection of other works by you two! :) I think it has everything one can want in an image - it's cheeky, irreverant, and mesmerising. The hair is excellent as well as the confidently sarcastic gaze and sardonic smirk. I love the fact that you can't tell whether the background contains a rising sun or moon, but whatever the source of light is - it is overshadowed by these magnificent clouds - and there are no silver linings to be seen. The lone cross on the expanse of earth speaks to the solo journey we all make from life to death. And yes, by the look on the girl's face - she's laughing at us. Almost as if this is a self portrait. For no matter how she looks now (beautiful, defiant, strong, daring, playful, young, vibrant, ALIVE)... the whole story of her life is told in the solitude of that barren cross.

This is a true self-potrait. The entire score of one life. The epic wasteland of humanity, the circle of life - is carried around in each of us like some kind of macabre fractal. The irony is that everyone wants to live forever, but the only real certainty in life is - death.

This is the "beautiful danger" - brilliantly etched in the smirk of a young girl.

F*** this is one of the best artworks on Iscribble ever.
The whole picture is so right. I mean, the colours, the scene, the expression etc.

And PiaShantee's comments are indeed very deep and meaningful.
If I could I would rate her comments also with 6 stars.

Btw How could anyone rate this less than 6 ?
