The robot drawn here shows a bit of the future. I don't know about other people, but for me, robots and futuristic stuff usually mean a break away from nature, but in this piece, you tied both together, and I really like that. It gives a sad feeling that the robot is rusting away and dying, but when tied with Spring, it gives hope that he'll live again, that things will revive, just like in your description! :)
